The Catholic Adoption Centre in Warsaw is a non-public organisation founded by the Bishop of Warsaw-Praga Diocese based on the relevant decree. The CA Centre began its operations on October 1st.1994.
The main objective of the CA Centre operations – stated in the Bylaws – is preventing a social phenomenon consisting in parental deprivation (social orphan hood) by offering each and every child an opportunity to grow up in the best possible family environment:
In case of a natural family this objective is implemented by supporting a child biological family through catering for their various needs;
in case of a foster family – by means of preparing the family for an adoption.
